I know we'll never be able to make comparisons with the rest of the Lancair community, but have you thought of establishing a database of LOBO members, their total time, time in type, time in last year, training time, etc.  Although it won't be able to be used for comparison with the rest of the Lancair (or Experimental) community, it might provide an interesting benchmark that would link quantity of safe flying hours with experience / currency / training / proficiency.  The flip side is it might make LOBO members a better insurance risk than other experimental pilots at large.  Of course, the down side is, if there is a rash of unsafe instances, it would provide just as valid a benchmark of shame.

I'd fess up my time for the cause.
