I agree Mark. I have 4 methods of fuel monitoring:
Visual verification, fuel gauges, fuel flow transducer, and time
(based on typical FF at known power setting). I should cross-check
often. I should land and investigate if any 2 don't agree. It's not
the inaccuracy of my monitoring equipment that is going to get me.
It's false assumptions motivated by laziness and haste.
