Realize that any kind of
splitter you put on the antenna will reduce the signal strength to the connected
receivers.

antenna diplexer question Date:Wed, 11 Nov 2009 12:13:12

I would like to operate my SL-30
and a new GNS-430W from the same NAV antenna. The SL-30 has an internal
diplexer, and the 430 does not. I am thinking of using a Mini Circuits
ZFSC-2-1 splitter (5-500 MHz), available on eBay, to split the signal. One
output would go to the SL-30. The other would go to a diplexer and into the
VOR and GS inputs of the 430. Does anyone have a better way of doing
this?
Thanks for the help.
