If he seals that separate the high side of the hydraulic system from the low side fail the one will feed into the other and your pump will continue running incessantly. This could be caused by the either the seal that surrounds the piston or the seal under the nut that locks the piston to the rod having given up the ghost in one or more of your cylinders. The best test is to isolate each cylinder in the system one at a time until the hydraulic pump operates as it's supposed to. I would perform this test prior to removing the pump from the system, if for no other reason than to eliminate a failed cylinder seal as the cause of your problem. You should also do the same thing with your dump valve, as even though it's the new 5kpsi unit, it is possible that one of its seals may have failed as well. If, after you've isolated all the cylinders and the valve, your pump continues to operate, you can feel pretty sure that that's where the problem resides. Please let us know how this works out. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
