Not really, lower angle of attack means less L/D - = efficiency=20 - glide ratio.
Speed being equal, it takes more power at a lower = AoA (more=20 wing area).
 
If you want a faster wing, REDUCE the wing area, = note Rare=20 Bear's wing - clipped.
