If they have even a gentle bend the housing gets longer and reduces the length of the cable about 3/8=94 too = much to obtain full travel with a =BC=94 full forward =93cushion=94 at the = knobs. You need that cushion to be sure the control arms are at full travel when = the engine is under power loads or mounts settle. =20 =20 After looking high and low for a longer rod end bearing with a 10-24 threaded end, I gave up and bought an easily located longer rod end = bearing with a =BC-20 threaded end. It was adapted with a =BC-20 bolt drilled = and tapped to 10-24 for the control cable. I screwed the bolt into the new longer rod end bearing with Loc tite stud locker, torqued it tight, cut = the exposed bolt and obtained the needed extra length. This would never fly = on a certified aircraft but I feel very comfortable with it.
