Isaac,


The baffle addition you show helps a lot, but you can do even better if you extend it about another inch, and bend it so it wraps around the cylinder fins until the cut-away for the pushrod tube on the far left of your photo below. Ditto for the other cylinders where this occurs…#1,  #2, #5 & #6 specifically. The idea is to direct cooling air as far as possible around and through the cylinder fins. Even a small piece added to the fins at the top of the picture below will improve cooling.

My baffling has the slot in front of cyl 5, as well as a piece below #5 fins to keep the flow attached on the underside:



I also have modified the oil cooler baffle behind #2 to let air get around back and it also has a piece below to keep the flow attached:



Finally, I added baffles between the two horizontal intercoolers and the cylinder heads:

Notice cyl 5 is hottest.  Ususally it's cyl 2.  Do you have the small
rectangular cut opening in front of cyl 5?
