I couldn't agree more with the comments made by Bill.  Without the stall training that I had, I would have been another sad statistic, especially since my notable spin occurred in IMC.  It took a loss of about 2500 ft for this brain to sort it out and recover..  fortunately I was climbing out at 5500' at the time.  Just DO IT..
