I had not planned to install one, = but did so based on his recommendation. I also put the activation knob = on the left side of the instrument panel (IV-P) so it can be released = from outside the airplane without getting in/on the wing. This is = important to me. Have used it several times and now consider it = essential... bob We have one on our 320 and wouldn't be without it. It's light, = inexpensive, easy to install, dependable and useful.
