If you were using a B&C LR3C regulator, the OV Crowbar logic would pop the field breaker. Perhaps you had over voltage conditions (16+ VDC).  If you were= using=20 a B&C LR3C regulator, the OV Crowbar logic would pop the field=20 breaker.
