Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor says the single-engine Lancair crashed Saturday in a farming community in Santa Clarita. Coroner's investigator Jerry McKibben says 43-year-old Ronald Ira Weiss of Los Angeles was killed in the crash. The other man's name has not been released. Gregor says the homebuilt aircraft, which was red and white with the words "rock 'n' roll" painted on the side, was registered to Weiss. It was not immediately clear where the flight originated or where it was headed.
