If I were buying an engine today (either Lyc or Cont), I'd go to Barrett Performance Engines in Tulsa ( http://www.bpaengines.com ).  I believe their rebuilt engines are better built than factory new ones and they work with Lancair builders.  I believe they will be at Oshkosh.
