I discovered a small crack in my ES = mount=20 a couple years ago (one week before Fredericksburg).  I = had the=20 old style mount without the plates that box in the strut mounts and = the=20 gussets on the forward isolator arms.  The ES uses the same = mounting=20 system for the strut as the IV, but we don't have the mechanism to = swing the=20 gear.  After discovering my crack and after posting it to the = Yahoo ES=20 group, a couple other guys found cracks in the same place.  = Several ES=20 guys have modified their old style mounts with gussets and plates = boxing in=20 the strut mount area, basically bringing it up to current production=20 specs.
