demonstrates none of us are above Murphys, aka the law of distraction.

years ago while demonstrating the attributes of a B727,I did the same thing –
got distracted in yakking to my mate who was flying the thing. When it slid to
a stop, I reached over and selected the gear down and got three greens. Fortunately
I was in the simulator!
None
of us are above making a “blue” – that’s Australian for balls-up!

PS Dunno if you’ve been back to Hanoi – but I saw a piece of your
jet in the markets in ’96. It was a saucepan at the time.
