I used 'if' to emphasize the fact the IF he is a former POW, then nothing anyone says on the LML will injure his ego.

 

I was not a military pilot, but I was a military aviator -- a USAF boom operator.

 

I dictate rules neither for flight nor building -- I merely suggest that some folks with a, um, less than developed sense of self-preservation might benefit from a community where we all care for each other's safety.

 

I apologize for any misunderstanding.

The "if" in the above statement is not called for. The pilot in question WAS a military pilot and DID spend time as a "Guest" of the North Vietnamese.

You had no reason to include the "if" in your post, unless you were questioning the original post.

 

I believe your were a military pilot. I was also, however, I don't want you or anyone on this list to try to force me to build or fly in a manner that you dictate. If that is not your intention, my apologies.
