Any thoughts on this one? Yes I do. I think you've done what friends hope friends will do when you've taken the time to shake a guy by his collar. Rest easy, you've done more than most of us -- and it often really counts. If you want to turn someone in to the FAA, EAA, TSA, FBI, Lancair, etc., I guess it's your choice, but please don't visit my hangar.
Almost every really neat thing I've done has been because of encouragement I've gotten from someone. I wish more folks had told me when I was doing the wrong thing, but I think that's harder to do.

So far the best suggestion that I have heard is to contact the local EAA Tech Counselor if the builder will not listen to you. That was a good idea and I should have done that.
I suppose that, as a last resort, one might also try contacting the kit manufacturer. They certainly have a vested interest in their airplanes not crashing. Any thoughts on this one?

p.s. We've all heard the story of a Lancair or Glasair being assembled without the peel-ply being removed. Does anyone know first-hand if this story is really true?
