Good Morning Lancairians,

I'm staying this week in Sunriver (south of Bend/Redmond Oregon), leaving Friday afternoon.  Unfortunately, my wife deferred my suggestion to fly here from New Jersey in my LIVP.  And I have a good flying buddy with us who I would like to show the wonderful landscape of Central Oregon.  But no plane (darn it).

I was considering renting at the Bend Airport FBO, but the idea of flying a Cessna 172 from Crater Lake along the east side of the cascades up to Madras is underwhelming.  They have an FBO Cirrus which might be interesting, but how can it compare to Lancairs?

We all enjoy the chance to go flying, and if someone on the List Serv has the incliniation, I would like to shamelessly ask if that person would offer a chance to fly over Central Oregon for myself and friend Randy.  I will, of course, "share" the expense fully.  We can meet in any of these area airports.
