For those of you who are using the tape: what is working; are there any pitfalls in applying the tape; or any other words of wisdom? I repainted my leading edges about 6 months ago but what I used simply doesn't stand up to the rain I've been flying through. =20 Also- I'm using the MT propeller with the rubber leading edge boot on the blades. That boot is also deteriorating/pitting with flying in inclement weather. I called an authorized MT repair facility. They told me I could fill in pits with black RTV sealant as an interim fix, rather than having the boots stripped off and reapplied, which would essentially require the entire propeller to be re-finished. Are any of you using any kind of tape on the propeller to give it some protection? Thanks for any help on the leading edge tape. I'll figure out my paint problems at a later date. Respectfully, Jim.
