Dear
LML Members,
I
provided the wrong identifier for the Suffolk Airport, VA in the note below.
It should be KSFQ.
Sorry;
hope no one just plugs in SFK and heads wherever it takes you…

Regional Fly-In
Dear
fellow builders and flyers,
The
Virginia Aviation Council (a non-profit group of volunteers) is sponsoring the
Virginia Regional “Festival of Flight” at the Suffolk Airport (KSFK) on 30-31
May. This fly-in was held at Dinwiddie Airport for many years, but
successfully relocated to Suffolk last year for space and support
considerations. A couple of us Lancair builders/owners plan to set up and man
a small tent on the flight line to show off our airplanes and do some
(strictly voluntary) marketing of these marvelous machines for Lancair. I’d
like to personally invite you to bring your Lancair to this event, and to join
us in a reserved parking area if you do so.
You
can find additional information about the Fly-In at www.VirginiaFlyin.org
or drop me an email directly. Please note: My wife, one of the above-mentioned
volunteers, is still looking for cheap--as in free--help, so beware! The main
benefit I can see for such altruism is free food...as written on the
tee-shirt… J
Please
come if you can, by car, plane or foot; but if arriving by Lancair--and
willing to park amongst friends--please send me a note at rpastusek@htii.com so I can reserve
sufficient space on the line. Please stop by the flight line tent and
introduce yourself in any case…
