If I remember, much of the stuff you need for this list can be found in the Lancair supplied POH. Primarily though, as the builder, the contents of this list must be compiled by you. Logic and common sense will lead the way. Consider all the things on the airframe that are potential wear points, things that need lubrication, places that have fasteners that may work their way loose, etc. Make you own list, document it and add to it as you gain experience with your airplane. Don't forget such things as ELT battery life, xponder and altimeter correlation checks (by a qualified shop) and the various filters that have a published life expectancy. Write all the check points down, preferably in the back of the airframe log book and refer to it as you do your annual (you do have your Repairman's certificate for you airplane, don't you?). Depending on your competency regarding your engine, you may want to have a local FBO's chief wrench check out your engine for things such as compression, valve lash (for O-235 and O-290 engines which do not have hydraulic lifters) etc. The check list for your experimental airplane is a matter of common sense and it's your responsibility.
