I bought one and have it mounted on the back of the aft spar with a little model aircraft pushrod connecting it to the flap bellcrank. It's mounted in the fuselage, down by the flap motor. No weather problems. A similar unit could be mounted to the underside of the stub wing skin (the top of the wheel well) and connected by a model airplane pushrod to that little arm intended for the cable-actuated inner gear doors. (You didn't cut it off, did you?) A small cover should keep the water out. - Rob Wolf >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
