Subject: [LML] Lancair 4 rudder
extension
Dear subscribers
I found this on ebay. Does this make sense?
Carbon
Fiber Fuselage and Rudder Strake for Lancair IV/IVP/IVPT/ES NO RESERVE enhances
rudder control at slow speeds thus enhancing directional control and
stability. There are two pieces that are formed to fit to the fuselage
and rudder. Can be simply bonded to fuselage and rudder, thus
no need for body work or repainting to fuselage/tail surfaces, however one can
easily feather parts in if aircraft is in building stage or before
painting. The fuselage strake has a hard point at tail end for tail
tie down pin.The fuselage and rudder strake are shipped in a 7 foot x 1 foot
round tube. Total weight of tube and parts are 20 lb. The cheapest
carrier I can find is Fed EX freight at $200.00 (5 Bus. days) and $25.00 for
cost of tube. I also have regular E-Glass strakes that you can have for a
buy it now price of $575.00, the shipping charges are the same. Any other
questions please call 705-772-1423. Ebay has made it manditory we put a
shipping price in or it won't allow us to list. The shipping price is the
cost to send to Southern Ca. You may have other shipping capabilities at
cheaper rates!
