I have refrained from commenting on all of the stall/spin talk since I have=
 no background to justify anything I say.=A0 But, I will add what I have fo=
und in my recent experience and what others have said.=0A=0AFor starters, I=
 have an odd setup to say the least.=0ASmall Tail=0AShort Mount=0ABattery B=
ehind Seat=0AHeader Tank=0AXP-400SRE adds 35 lbs I think..=0AHartzell CS Pr=
op=0A155 lb Pilot=0A=0AI have found if I land slower with full flaps, I can=
 not trim to a neutral stick.=A0 And it doesn't leave you much pitch up tra=
vel.=A0 But, if you land with half flaps or a touch more than half, no prob=
lems at all.=A0 I am more for landing fast and using brakes, than landing s=
low and breaking something.=0A=0AI am a Lancair buyer, not a builder. I did=
 my initial training with Skip Holm.=A0 For those of you that don't know wh=
o he is,=A0I would say "qualified" doesn't exactly cover it.=A0 Skunkworks =
test pilot, Top Gun Instructor, yadda yadda...=A0=A0 Skip had the controls =
for about, oh,=A0 1 minute.=A0 During that time he did some very basic turn=
s, slowing to 85 mph indicated in a 90 degree bank.=A0=A0Once leveled out h=
e pushed the rudder back and forth a couple times.=A0 After this quick eval=
uation he looked me square in the eyes and in a serious Skip Holm manner sa=
id, "Don't Spin It".=A0 We didn't slow below 100 mph the rest of the flight=
.=0A=0ANot saying he is correct, or I am correct, but I am not going to tak=
