My intercoolers did not = have ports on the inlet side for the sonic nozzles, so I cut holes at the 9= 0 degree bend and welded the sonic nozzles in place. Please note that these= are directional=97there is a flow direction that's important. Orient the n= ozzle so the high pressure side (the intercooler) has the rapidly-constrict= ing orifice, and the exhaust side the more gently-tapered end of the nozzle= .

 

The welding is a job for= a professional, but you can prepare the intercoolers for welding by carefu= lly cutting a 1" diameter hole, and then flattening the area around it to m= ake a good mating surface for the nozzle. I could send  you a picture = of the general arrangement, but would need to do this over the weekend.
