The pop and sparks witnesses = reported before the crash was the pilot trying to deploy the chute. For = some reason the chute failed to deploy so the pilot bailed out. I saw an article, I think it was on = Aero-News, that=20 the SkyCatcher that crashed was equiped with a BRS chute.  The pop = and=20 sparks witnesses reported before the crash was the pilot trying to = deploy the=20 chute.  For some reason the chute failed to deploy so the pilot = bailed=20 out.
