Hello Harper,

We've got the small tail and long engine mount on our 320. We've had no problems with the small tail and wouldn't change it even if it were a zero cost, 1 day job (which it certainly isn't). I would stick with the small tail and make the following modifications:
Shorten the control arm on the elevator to produce a little less stick throw with a little more stick force.
Install the geared trim system.
Install the larger trim springs.
As an added bonus, install a VHF nav antenna in the glass stab. Can't do that in the carbon MKII.
