Lancair's price to me was about $6,000. My price from Hartzell was about $11,000. Lancair told me that they highly discounted the first prop to a kit builder/buyer. The next time I needed a prop, I could not obtain the heavy discount from Lancair. This time, with the insurance company paying, I purchased an Aero Composites prop. If cost is any consideration, I would check first with Lancair. If cost doesn't count, I love my Aero Composites carbon fiber prop.
