Use only Unison now, as it seems to be the more reliable of the two. Pressurizing mags is an inexact science (note there is usually only one bleed air from the bottom of one of the mags-I think the right-and most of the corrosion I have seen is on that mag, with both systems). I talked to Unison a while back-between the thin air and arcing risk and the constant/frequent transitions we put these mags through between high dry and low moist air, our flight regime is particularly hard on these components (much more so than on low fliers). And no, you don't need to remove any of the plumbing to change out or inspect the mags. Doug Douglas W.
