I looked = at my Builder's logbook and can tell you I personally spent over 700 = hours in micro, primer, sanding, primer before I took it to the = professionals. I thought it was ready. SOOOORRRRRRY I was told. = Afterwords we logged over 250 more hours in completing the finish and = trim. I lucked out in that shop because I ony paid for 104 hours of = shop time. The poane was there for five weeks. The other 146, I was = allowed to do it in that shop. My cost was $10,000. That was in the = year 2000. That is 8 years ago my friend. Make sure your base is smooth as glass. After spending several years = and much money, now is not the time to pinch pennies.
