When we modified the stock Continental mount, we added a = little rake to the lower plane of the gear mount, which caused the over = the center links to be short, therefore negative rake. With Lancair's = advice, I am fabricating two new ones an inch longer, and that will = result in a 2-3 degree forward rake when I am done. The rest of the = geometry works just fine, and clearances in the well work too. Did you = notice the flat tire? Recommend Lancair's patented anti-pinch shield = when assembling the wheel. New inner tube's on the way.......(:-).
