Subject: [LML] Re: Seats for Lancair IV
Bob: What type seats do you have--really what type seat
rails? I installed the high strength seats (more expense and work than
they are worth I think) and have a pair of the kit seats that were modified by
Lancair's interior guy in Oregon, the expensive one. He lowers the seats,
adds a custom carbon pan and canvas padding that is very comfy ( I used them
for flight prep before falling for the high strength ones). Any way they
cost me about a grand but are serving no useful purpose so I would be willing
to sell them to you for a few hundred plus shipping. However do inquire
around to insure they will work first--I know first hand that changing seat
installation is a bitch--at least for a fat old guy like me.

Fellow
Builders,
I am finally preparing for test flying my N437RP next month. I plan to fly
without completing the interior, but need at least one (preferring two)
reasonably good seat cushions/backs. Anticipate needing them for about two
months until we can work the interior. Would any of you have same, and willing
to sell or loan?
Thanks, Bob Pastusek
