I don't know how much pressure I have on the seal, but it seals very well. I didn't use the silicon extrusion on my non pressurized IV and I have=20= no=20 complaints.  I don't know how much pressure I have on the seal, but it=20 seals very well.  I don't think that the pressurized guys are using the= =20 extrusion either
