Hi Colyn,

My instrument panel has EVERYTHING in the left half. The entire right side of the panel is blank. The header goes between the right side of the panel and the firewall with a little bit more capacity on the left between the firewall and the panel equipment. Just like the LNC2s, I'll use the little Facet pumps to load the header.

By the way, I really had no trouble getting everything that I NEEDED for hard IFR into the left side only. I have a set of full sized instruments (airspeed, altimeter, horizon, dg, ADF head and Strike Finder ) as well as dual Grand Rapids screens. There's a full stack of radios including HF. I tried to lay out the panel for function and safety rather than symmetry and "curb appeal".

Most of you will be wondering about the ADF. Much of the world requires ADF for IFR. Same with the Strike Finder, once you get out of the US uploaded wx is not available. This plane is not being built as a "domestic" bird.

Bill,
   I missed something there.
  - where ina IVP do you put a header tank?
   - sounds like in order to have a header tank you had to add two pumps. one to load the header from each wing.  is this right?

Colyn
