The reason I am responding however, is this elegant looking but dangerous connector. My hangar mate had his mixture cable break at the entrance to this "Wire Grip" on two occasions. I had a Carb Heat cable break in the same place using the same connector. Here's what is happening. If you have the correct "cushion" or stand off when the knob is pushed all the way in, the cable will bend at the weakest point. The "Wire Grip" is acting as a fulcrum by pivoting at the rod end bearing (attached to the threaded end) and the leverage causing the wire to flex at the point it enters the "Wire Grip". The wire broke in less than 50 hours every time.
