I use one from Sabre.  Sam Tillman makes a great part.  I've been to his shop several times and am totally impressed with his knowledge base and his 1st class CNC machines.  He says my extension is good to about double the horsepower that I generate.  Yes, buy it!

Subject: Prop Extensions

Anyone see any problems with using a constant speed prop extension from Sabre?  I have an 0-360 and rather than using the "F" series hub, which is proving difficult to find, I can use a "C" series hub.  The RV uses them so they are readily available but they need the extension to fit the cowling. Sabre makes a nice extension. Anyone using one?
