It reads out on the Chelton (there is only one value displayed at a time). I have a toggle switch that selects which probe I want to display. One is placed after the right turbo, but before the air passes through the intercooler. The other probe is located in the upper deck. I use a GRT EAU to feed information to the Chelton. There is a Chelton software problem. The EAU temperature says carb temp. When the IAT temp on the Chelton reaches 127 degrees F the display turns red, and as the temperature rises beyond 126 degrees F the displayed value has a minus sign in front of it and decreases in value. I.E., 127 degrees would be displayed as -125 degrees F; 128F displayed as -124F. I have discussed the issue with the experimental folks at Chelton, but they didn't think there was a high probability that the needed software change would be forth coming any time soon. I don't use it for LOP operation though. Lynn Farnsworth Super Legacy #235 TSIO-550 Powered Race #44 Subject: [LML] LIVP...TSIO550...Induction Temperature Monitored? TSIO550...does anyone use an Induction Temperature sensor to monitor air temp coming through the throttle? Do you find it useful as you explore LOP operations?
