A while back, there was a discussion about splitting an antenna and leaving one end for a hand held. Some said it would fry the other radio, some said no problem. Was there ever a verdict? I see in the Lancair catalog, they sell a duplexer for about $330. Are there cheaper or better? I have a friend who has had a splitter in is Mooney for 12 years with no problem. Go figure.
