I have an known ice TKS system on my Mooney. It works well but the wing panels change the radius of the leading edge. this will likely cause performance changes to the wing. The Mooney goes slower and slow speed handling not as crisp. Install will not be real easy but you will have an effective anti-ice system. Life has compromises.

I want to get a de-ice system for the Lancair IV-P-TURBINE powered . I am interested in any opinions or suggestions on what is available and what can be used. the system mike custard was selling is now not available. (does anyone have his system and want to sell it?) the thermal wing is available but the alternator for this system draws too much H.Q. for the turbine acc. drive. I was told about 10 HP
what about the weeping wing system . is it still available , is it any good , is it time consuming to install?
is there something else out there?.................thanks for any info
