AC publishes a Lorn chart at: http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/pdf/LORDMOUNTS.pdf It looks to me like I should maybe use the Lord J-7402-16, J-7402-24 =20 or the J-7402-37. But what about the J-7402-2, J-7402-6, J-9613-49 =20 and J-6230-1? What is the difference in all of these mounts? And lets not forget: http://www.aerocraftparts.com/Categories.aspx?Category=3D8aa3943f-=20= d4f8-492c-880a-260f854c383a There are a number of Barry mounts listed here. How did you determine which mounts to use? I just talked to Russ at Lancair. Here is his 2=A2 worth: Barry 94150-01 for O-235 94150-40 for O-290, 320 & 360 constant Speed $59.00 each 94150-41 for O-290, 320 & 360 fixed pitch Lord J-7402-1 same as 94150-40 but cost $80 each Back in 1998, 1,200 hundred hours ago on my plane, I switched to the =20 Lord mounts based on Don Goetz thinking that they were smoother that =20 the Barry mounts. Mine still work fine. Now, after 10 more years of experience, Russ thinks that both are =20 about the same. They are a bit softer than =20 > the Barry mounts. -runs a bit smoother, but you may need to add an =20= > extra washer to the lower mounts. > Chris -- Lorn H.
