That includes all fuel fired types, and most electric types with an exposed element (too dangerous in a hanger). He will allow a sealed oil-filled electric heater, provided it has a tip-over safety switch, a timer, and is small (e.g. 1,500 watts max) only big enough to warm the area where you intend to be located (not big enough for the entire hanger).
