The bidding lasted 15 minutes and Cessna came out the winner with a total bid of $26.9 million. Closing will take place on December 4, when Cessna will take possession of the Bend, Oregon based Columbia Aircraft. This afternoon, Cessna became the new owner of Columbia Aircraft.
Cessna outbid the only contender left, Park Electrochemical, with 2 bids
after the initial bids were placed. The bidding lasted 15 minutes and
Cessna came out the winner with a total bid of $26.9 million.
