I got the factory kit for my IV, and I didn't install it yet because the thought of the external sleeve stop moving freely and rotating against the stop lock nut bothered me. In my case, I know the factory is not going to substitute a machined part for a twenty cent piece of cut tubing, so I am going to make my own--maybe I will TIG weld a nut onto the end of the tubing to provide the threaded end against which the lock nut will touch. I think I will slide the nut and the tubing over a piece of threaded rod to give alignment when I weld it. Thanks for the suggestion, David Jones, Pecatonica, Illinois >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
