Just a Quick not to all who have used some form of alternate to the longer single piece hydraulic upstop. I e-mailed Vern (vernp@lancair.com) last Thursday and today (Tuesday) I recieved (air mailed) 3 new upstops from Lancair. They measure 1.25" vs the old (at least with my 235 kit) 0.930". With new upstops only an email and several days away why take the chance of the 2piece upstop binding the rod partway through full travel of the actuator (like a screen door piston stop)?
Just my thoughts.

[There you go, everyone... now there's no excuse at all for using washers
for anything other than determining the length your new upstop will need to be ground down to. Excellent!
