I was amazed at how similar the straight weight 30W oil compared to the high tech multi viscosity and synthetic oils. One conclusion I found is the thinner the oil is to start with, the more stable the viscosity is. I don't know much about the flash point or whether we need to worry about it or not. I'll get the oils today and start cookin'.
