I checked the Manual but aside = from the fuselage stand found very little information about handling the = parts and pieces. I also tried my hand at searching the Archives but = couldn't figure out how to retrieve posts online but maybe I'll be able = to figure that out eventually. After two weeks of Builder Assist the wings, horizotal stab and = elevators should be closed in and the windows and door installed on the = upper fuselage half. Could anyone tell me what Lancair does for crating = (if anything) when shipping with Partain? I'm wondering whether I'd have = to set up storage racks for various large pieces- do any shipping = cradles get returned? If so I'd like to have as much prepared in advance = as I can. Also, what methods have people used to store items such as the wings? = Would it make a difference over time if they were vertically suspended = from slings vs. horizontal on sawhorses? How much does each wing panel = typically weigh?
