I have never had the shimmy on my L4P with 450 hrs. However, I was advised
to keep the nose tire at 30 lbs or less. I have done this which looks like it is
low on air. This makes the contact patch much larger which dampens shimmy. The
wrong thing to do is put more air in it. You need the largest contact area and a
working internal shimmy dampener.

Jim, You've probably already checked, but how about
the inflation pressure on the nose wheel? This is pretty important, and you
might consider upping the pressure a bit, even if it's in the "normal"
range.
