No, I didn't test the elevator's affect on the MSU, but now that you mention it, I should have.  I'd be surprised if it had any affect because the iron parts of the elevator system are farther away from the MSU than the iron parts of the rudder system.  But on the other hand, I'm constantly surprised by things.  Hmmmmm.  I'll check it tomorrow.
