Gentlemen,

Does anyone have an un-installed third intercooler for a Lancair IV-P that I
could borrow for the coming weekend?

Lancair sent me one some months ago, and it wasn't until I started to
install the baffling that I realized the unit was manufactured incorrectly;
specifically that the fine/thin cooling fins faced the incoming air/rain and
the heavy fins designed to take this beating were on the exit side. I sent
the unit back as Michelle requested, but she now advises they are
back-ordered and she won't be able to ship a new one for several weeks. The time is critical as I have an offer of expert help to fit and install
the baffling this coming weekend, and having an intercooler to use as a
"spacer" for locating the various panels and brackets is required for this.

If you are willing to loan your intercooler, I'll pay for overnight shipping
both ways, will promise not to harm the unit in any way, and have it back to
you next week. I won't install/drill/mark it up; just use it to be sure all
the other parts are lined up properly.
