Can anyone recommend an avionics product that would meet the following criteria:

1. Fit into the space of a VM1000 display (I would replace my VM1000 display)

2. Display engine information similar to VM1000

3. Display GPS course information

4. Display moving maps, including Jeppview approaches and charts

5. Display satellite weather and maybe even TIS?

The only thing I can think of that meets requirements 2 through 5 is a Chelton or Op Technologies EFIS screen, and they're both quite a bit larger than the VM1000. (Pricey, too.) Maybe you should start a new avionics company and build an instrument that fills all of your requirements. Shouldn't be all that hard..... :)
