Re -  L-IV retract step spring....

Anyone have any thoughts on where to go from here.  I'm running out of ideas

Bill,
The calculated rate of the original spring is supposed to be around 12
lb/in. By other hand, when you talk about failure, in order for me to be
able to help you further I would need to have the cycling heights.

Luis:

Thank you for the info on your LC 032C-11M and 12M

Without details on the original spring, I can't make a comparison.  I was hoping to find a spring with similar dimensions but made from a stronger material that would resist compression failure.

Any thoughts that you may have would certainly be appreciated.

Thanks again....billhogarty@hughes.com
